Perhentian Kecil
The smaller of the two islands which mainly caters to backpackers. There are two main beaches, which are Coral Bay (sunset) and Long Beach (sunrise). Coral Bay has excellent snorkelling on Golden Bay and the air here is rather relaxing, while Long Beach has a bit more of a night life.
Perhentian Besar
Bubbles Dive Resort on Perhentian Besar (Big island) has its own beach as well as a turtle conservation. This place main caters to families or those seeking some quiet time as they seem to be the very few places that have hammocks around here!
