A place where hip meets history. Located within the square of Kota Tua, this place stands out among its peers. It's more than 200 years-old and still standing strong. The building itself is from the Dutch colonial era and its Dutch traits is still very much present in its architecture.
I love and adore this place. Ocha & Bella is an Italian restaurant located on the ground floor of Morrissey Hotel. As it is the hotel itself feels like a modern day Bauhaus interpretation, this restaurant is no better. The use of raw materials, keeping it simple with a few coloured furniture is just some of the charms of this restaurant.
One of the first café's I stopped at in Jakarta. Situated within Plaza Senayan, a trendy up market mall, this place welcomes you with the scent of fresh coffee and baked bread. Its a great place to meet up with friends and catch up over a meal.
As if Bangsar hasn't had enough coffee outlets, this one adds to the list. Nestled along on Jalan Telawi 2, this place serves good coffee with choices of single bean origin. Depending on your taste buds, they are sure to accommodate.
Tucked away from the hustle of the main Changkat Bukit Bintang street, this places offers a sanctuary to any coffee enthusiast or just a bookie, during the day time. It's easy to miss, as its well dressed with tall potted plants in the front and a modest sign reading 'FEEKA'.
