Rustic wooden furniture accompanied by plush cushioned seats is rather tempting after a long walk around Ubud's main street. Tucked between boutiques along Jalan Hanoman, this little café is a retreat from the hot afternoon sun with a glass of fresh wholesome juice blend to cool off.
Working on holiday is not ideal but working in the heart of Bali, Ubud is somewhat amazing. Seniman Coffee Studio provided the perfect setting - great coffee, food and desserts. Its one café I couldn't get enough off.
Just a stone throws away from the main Ubud high street, this café sets a perfect ambience of peace and tranquility. One can choose to either work at the Coffee Studio or the Cold Brew just across it. *honestly its not much of a difference between the two, other than perhaps the interior and one serving just cold coffee. Indonesian food at its best! Merah Putih in Seminyak is one place you might want to make a reservation early as can be rather busy during dinner hours. Nestled in Seminyak, this place does serve up quality Indonesian cuisine. Just don't be fooled by the outer appearance of this establishment.
The people who created Rock Bar has now brought us Unique Rooftop Bar & Restaurant in Rimba. Rimba is a just a short drive away from the famous Ayana Resort and its situated within its grounds.
Its a bar-restaurant that has beautiful 360 degree views of the forest that surrounds the resort, which opens up to the Indian Ocean. The new kid on the block, Baba's restaurant in Seminyak serves Peranakan as well as Balinese and western cuisine; and the food is delicious!
