I love and adore this place. Ocha & Bella is an Italian restaurant located on the ground floor of Morrissey Hotel. As it is the hotel itself feels like a modern day Bauhaus interpretation, this restaurant is no better. The use of raw materials, keeping it simple with a few coloured furniture is just some of the charms of this restaurant.

The decor is amazing, from sit down family tables to cozy lounge areas, garden seats and not to mention rocking chairs! Every section of this place, feels like you're moving from one section of your home to another with an open floor plan.

The large windows allow lots of natural light in and the high ceilings keeps it well ventilated. The layout of this place is cool and the location is great too as you can't hear the traffic from the streets and the high living fence around it adds to the touch of being in a garden (especially if you're sitting out doors).

The food on the other hand, is a whole other ball game. Amazing food, just mouth watering and fresh. The breads are perfect and the Antipasto Misto is a must! A selection of cured meats follow by a luscious spicy chutney, cheese, focaccia bread and other assortments is simply divine. Their pasta's are all homemade. The Chitarra Al Tonno (Spaghetti with magura tuna, cherry tomatoes, Kalamta Olives and capers) and Orecchiette Al Ragu Di Cinghiale (homemade orecchiette in wild boar ragu sauce) is to die for.

I love & adore this place cause:

The interior and exterior is superb.
The interior of a place can say a lot and this place feels just perfect for that late afternoon lunch. Its comfortable, welcoming and different. It has different seating options to suit your mood, so if you feel like sipping your drink one a rocking chair, go a head!

The food is to die for.
Delicious Italian food couldn't get any better and homemade pasta can't get fresher than this. Even though the pictures look good, it can't do your taste buds any justice. You have to try their food, it's mouth-watering good. Its one gastronomical affair this place.

I really like the concept of open kitchen. The ambience is so cozy and nice. They have a variety of food to choose from the menu. I recomment La Spada and Rosticciana Alla Griglia, I would eat those everyday.
I know that now they also got some Fine Caviar Selection, for those that would like to try it. And oh...the desert is to die for!!! I had the Bellini...love love love it!

The outdoor is decorated like mini garden terrace. Very comfy with rocking chairs and sofas, where you can stay and enjoy the night, a glass of wine and forget a bit about your daily problems! The whole concept is very chic and stylish, I like it.

I really recommend this place!
