One of the first café's I stopped at in Jakarta. Situated within Plaza Senayan, a trendy up market mall, this place welcomes you with the scent of fresh coffee and baked bread. Its a great place to meet up with friends and catch up over a meal.
The interior is pretty quirky and well laid out. The lighting temperature sets a perfect tone for the weekend. Coffee here is relatively good and the food menu is impressive. They have an adequate selection of mains, followed by sandwiches, pastries and desserts. Its hard not to want to stay here for a long time and go through from one course to another apart from having coffee. This place has great ambience and it's so lively!

Being spoilt by having good cups of coffee, this place is almost god sent. I don't like the mainstream coffee outlets as the quality tend to slip and differ from one to another hence the niche cafés. So having been introduced to Monolog was just great.

Talk about value for money. My sandwich was a whopping tower! I could hardly finish it! The menu selection is rather long for a café. From mains to sandwiches and dessert, take a pick; there is something to hold you back longer or coming back for more!
