No, it's not an orphanage but rather a grown-up-live-size doll house café that serves some of the best scrumptious cakes in town.
Everything in here, reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, with all the cakes covered in glass covers, silently screaming 'Eat Me', together with little tea cups from the Mad Hatter's tea party, this place is truly a huge doll house wonderland.

Tucked away in Thong Lor, this is one of the biggest of Mr. Jones' Orphanage café. It consist of two floors where the upper levels are for those who are… how shall I put it gently… smaller?
The top floor is the height of a 5-year-old. You have to crouch to navigate and perhaps even go on all fours to get around the place. But it's really cosy compared to the bottom floor with lounge chairs and even a little library.

I adore this place cause:
It's a whimsical world of childhood memories.
As you sit down, waiting to be served, there is a little tin filled with little toys for you to play with. The napkin holders look like a sail boat and there are teddies for those who would like to hug one. The teas come in huge pots and small tea cups that makes it look like you're having a tea party when you're a child, as the tea cups are smaller than usual. Toys together with sweet treats, its sure to bring back happy memories or make a few.
The desserts are simply delicious.
The Apple and Date cake is simply divine but that's not all, almost all of their desserts are heavenly. Its all displayed on a tiered shelve, which takes twice as long to make up your mind as everything looks good and sounds sinful.
A quirky interior.
The top floor is low, which makes the entire floor seem like you're walking into a doll house. Its a great place for kids as it feels like everything is made with them in mind. Its dimmer on the top than on the bottom, combine that with comfortable lounge chairs, it will definitely unwind the mind if not put you to sleep! The bottom floor has lots of natural light, add in a open space plan and a few toys, it's sure to light up your day. I can't find the right words to describe the place other than it's a quirky-fun-light hearted café.
