The café is a joint venture by a group of individuals that are trying to raise funds to make their own documentary as well as help out other artist. Pamela, one of the owners took time to explain that the barren walls on one side of the café are for artist to display their still artwork. Anyone is welcome to also play their video work as they have a projector in house – and all this for absolutely free of charge! Their aim is to help artists like themselves to have an outlet to display their talent and work.
The food here is simply sublime. Everything in here, where food is concerned, is made fresh in their kitchen and its free from refined sugar, flour, dairy, wheat and chemical. So if you’re planning to have a healthy meal out from home, this is the place to be.
*They even have their own herb garden at the corner of the café. Can’t get fresher than that!
The lounge music, interior and soft mood lighting made it perfect on a rainy day. It was soothing, relaxing and having a bowl of Vietnamese Beef Pho sends one into a dream like state where all your senses are relaxed, mellowed down and you’d want to do nothing but enjoy the present.
The food is beautiful and healthy!
Being slightly health conscious these days, eating out can be a bit of a chore. But this café serves some healthy wholesome meal that is free from wheat (this culprit makes you bloated like a hot air balloon) and chemicals, plus it taste amazing that makes eating out such a comfort. The menu has quiet a variety and the drinks are… lets just say delicious, interesting and healthy.
The vibe is so hippie I transform into one.
The entire café might not conform to a certain theme or design rule, but one thing is for sure, the mix and match of things comes together well to send out this hippie vibe. 15 minutes in there and you’re sure to mellow down and unwind. It has that feel and I personally love it.
No one really knows this place.
No signboard – hidden in a corner – subtle exterior. It’s so easy to drive past this place without glancing at it twice. Hardly a crowd in here makes it perfect for a meal followed by a nice cuppa and a book to slip into that Zen mode, preparing for the heavy week a head.
*If they had a hammock and a shisha pipe, I would never leave.
