Working on holiday is not ideal but working in the heart of Bali, Ubud is somewhat amazing. Seniman Coffee Studio provided the perfect setting - great coffee, food and desserts. Its one café I couldn't get enough off.
Just a stone throws away from the main Ubud high street, this café sets a perfect ambience of peace and tranquility. One can choose to either work at the Coffee Studio or the Cold Brew just across it.
*honestly its not much of a difference between the two, other than perhaps the interior and one serving just cold coffee.

As you walk in, feels like a traveling-hippie-freelancers heaven of a café as you'll see a number of laptops popped open with people busy working on. WIth a decent wifi connection, which can be rather rare at peak hour in Bali, combined with an array of superb coffee selection, its no wonder why this place is a freelancers heaven.
The interior is spacious with beautiful wooden furniture and lots of natural lighting. It feels modern with a bit of a Balinese-rustic twist to it. What got me in hypes is the plastic rocking chairs that are simply amazing. Its simply fun rocking up in those chairs while taking a break from working - its irresistible.

Seniman is a café that promotes ethnical values of sourcing their produce and being eco-friendly hence their coffee beans are all responsibly sourced and organically grown, plus its all roasted in house that makes them different from the other cafés around. On the other hand, 80% of their tableware is made from recycled products.
Most of their tablewares are made from recycled glass bottles, jars, alcohol bottles and other types of glassware. They up-cycle it to beautiful drinking cups, water bottles, vases and other products.

The coffee brewing method varies depending on what you're ordering that would result in an explosion of the tastebuds. Varies brewing methods are used to bring out the best of flavours of particular coffee beans. Its almost like wine tasting but with coffee - the complex flavours and various hints awakens one's palate to new heights.
I love this café cause:
Coffee here is simply sublime.
Coffee couldn't have been better. There are many places I've had coffee in but here, its made with to perfection. Indonesia is known for its coffee beans and having a coffee house that roasts its own coffee beans shows that they do know their coffee! And by all means they certain do know their coffee.
The desserts, perfect!
Not being one for things that are overly packed with sugar, the desserts here are well balance in flavours, texture and most importantly sugar content! Their little tarts and cakes are simply divine and combine that with coffee - I'm in heaven.
Up-cycling glassware.
Its great to see a cafe that recycles. Its refreshing to see various ways an old piece of glassware can be reused and creatively manipulated. Love the fact that they have these products up for sale for those who wish to support the idea of up-cycling.
Amazing working space.
Bali is known to holiday makers as a place to relax, unwind and have a wonderful retreat but Bali is also becoming popular among the younger start-up generation where working remotely with good internet connection is all they need. This cafe provides the perfect setting - good internet connection, ambience, coffee and beautiful food. The café is just off the main street that keeps it away from tourist hustle and bustle, which makes it perfect with ample of scooter parking space with minimum noise pollution.
