A place where hip meets history. Located within the square of Kota Tua, this place stands out among its peers. It's more than 200 years-old and still standing strong. The building itself is from the Dutch colonial era and its Dutch traits is still very much present in its architecture.
It's a charm of a place and it's takes you back a few years. It's walls are adorned with various pictures of famous celebrities taken by well known photographers. The lighting is shooting and their top salon sports large open door windows that flood the saloon with light. It's quite an ambiance. And the toilets on the top floor is pretty interesting... The photographs are at least.
I like this café for its ambience.
The only thing you should get here is drinks and nothing more as the food is not worth the price, but a drink and to chill in this café is worth it. It's relaxing, takes you back in time even just for a little while with it's intricate interior detail.
And some of the photographs of famous celebrities seen here, you might not have seen them any where else, so pay close attention.
